Siliguri, 27th July: A theft took place in a vacant house on Netaji Road at Subhash Pally, Siliguri, while the residents were away.

The homeowner, Tithi Chakraborty Maitra, had given the house to a promoter for reconstruction and was not living there at the time. Thieves took advantage of this and stole several items, including electrical cables, cooking utensils, and a TV.
