Siliguri, 27th July: The Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) has inaugurated the Siliguri Mayor’s Cup Inter-School and Club Women’s Football Tournament 2024 at the Kanchenjunga Stadium. The tournament was officially launched on Saturday by Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, and other officials.
The competition began on July 27 and will continue until July 30, featuring eight women’s teams. The event aims to promote sports and foster community spirit among the youth and local clubs. The Mayor’s Cup is expected to be a thrilling showcase of talent, bringing together football enthusiasts and supporters from across the region.
