Rajganj, 27th July: A truck driver sustained minor injuries in a head-on collision between two trucks on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway near the Fatapukur Toll Plaza on Saturday.
According to reports, a truck traveling from Assam was parked in front of a hotel near the Fatapukur Toll Plaza when another truck, traveling from the opposite direction, rammed into it. The driver of the stationary truck sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Rajganj Police promptly arrived at the scene and took both vehicles into custody. The incident has sparked an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision. Authorities are reviewing the circumstances leading up to the crash and are expected to release more details as the investigation progresses. The accident caused a brief disruption to traffic on the busy highway, but normal flow has since been restored.
