Siliguri, 03rd August: Dhananjay Biswas, a resident of Siliguri, urgently appeals for help for his daughter, Piyali Biswas, who needs a kidney transplant. This plea was made during a press conference at the Siliguri Journalist Club.
Piyali’s health issues began in 2018 with a fever, leading to a diagnosis of a kidney problem after initial treatments for a urinary infection at Siliguri District Hospital and a nursing home. She is now at AIIMS in Delhi, facing a severe financial burden due to the high cost of her treatment.
The Biswas family has sold all their land and exhausted their resources to cover medical expenses. Dhananjay Biswas is struggling to afford essential medicines and is appealing for financial assistance and a kidney donor to save his daughter.
