Naxalbari, 05th August: Sensation spread through Shanti Nagar in Naxalbari on Monday after residents discovered an unidentified body on a service road footpath.
Local residents promptly alerted the police, leading officers from the Naxalbari police station to recover the body. The deceased was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination.
Initial assessments by the police suggest the individual may be a vagrant. Efforts to identify the deceased are ongoing, with the police actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
