Siliguri, December 3: A high-level meeting focusing on enhancing security measures at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) was convened today at the State Guest House, Siliguri. The session was presided over by Surajit Kar Purkayastha, Chairman of the Committee for Security Audit.

Key stakeholders from NBMCH and Raiganj Medical College and Hospital attended the meeting. Prominent attendees included NBMCH Principal Indrajit Saha, Superintendent Sanjoy Mallick, Siliguri District Hospital Superintendent Chandan Ghosh, CMOH Tulsi Pramanik, Siliguri Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar, and DCP Traffic Biswa Chand Thakur.

Discussions centered on identifying and addressing the institutions’ unique security challenges. Surajit Kar Purkayastha later visited NBMCH to inspect the premises and assess security protocols firsthand.
