Siliguri, 28th July: The voluntary organization Nirbak Aranyak has organized a sterilization camp for stray dogs, aiming to sterilize approximately 100 strays in the area. The three-day camp, held near Baneswar More, adjacent to the Eastern Bypass in Siliguri, ensures the dogs undergo sterilization procedures and are then returned to their original locations.

On Sunday, the final day of the camp, Mayor Gautam Deb visited and commended the initiative. He highlighted the increasing number of stray dogs in Siliguri and emphasized that this camp will significantly help in controlling the population. This initiative by Nirbak Aranyak is a crucial step towards managing the stray dog population in the region.
