Siliguri, 08th August: Biraj Kumar, previously arrested for motorcycle theft, has been apprehended once more for a similar offense in Siliguri. The incident traces back to July 18th, when a motorcycle was stolen from outside Biswadeep Cinema Hall. The bike’s owner promptly filed a complaint at Pradhan Nagar Police Station.
During the investigation, police linked Biraj Kumar to the theft. Acting on a tip-off, a police team swiftly raided a location and arrested Kumar, recovering the stolen motorcycle in the process.
Kumar, previously detained by the Medical Outpost police and later released, has now been produced before a Siliguri court. The police continue to investigate the broader circumstances surrounding the crime, focusing on potential connections to other thefts in the area.
