Siliguri, 02nd August: The Bhakti Nagar police have successfully arrested two men, Bappa Das and Prasenjit Das, in connection with the bag-snatching incident that occurred on Sevoke Road. The victim, a resident of Deshbandhupara, reported the crime that took place on July 27. Her bag, containing a mobile phone, cash, ATM card, and important documents, was snatched by two individuals on a motorcycle.
Following the complaint and analysis of CCTV footage, the police apprehended the suspects on Thursday night. The motorcycle used in the crime was seized, and the stolen items were recovered from the suspects’ possession.
Both accused were presented in the Jalpaiguri court on Friday. The police are currently investigating the incident.
