Siliguri, 07th August: A tragic accident near Cosmos Mall on Sevoke Road in Siliguri resulted in the death of Kalpana Barman, a resident of Netaji Nagar under Bhakti Nagar Police Station. Barman was riding her bicycle when she was struck by an army vehicle.
The collision caused a temporary traffic jam in the area. Bhakti Nagar police officers quickly arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and transported it to the district hospital for further procedures.
